Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Job Characteristics, Emotional Intelligence and Competence on Personnel Performance. The number of samples in this study were 90 people who were personnel. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis. The measurement in this study was carried out by giving the value of each item statement of all variables using a Likert scale. Data from the questionnaire were analyzed including: data description, testing of research requirements, including normality test, homogeneity test, and linearity test. To prove the effect of variables on this study using data analysis techniques with path analysis. The conclusions of the results of this study are: (1) Not found influence between Job Characteristics on Competence. (2) There is a direct influence on the emotional intelligence competencies, with a path coefficient value of 39.44%. (3) There is the influence of Jobs on the Performance Characteristics, the path coefficient value of 8.29%. (4) There is an influence of Emotional Intelligence on performance, with a path coefficient value of 5.95%. (5) There is an influence of competence on performance with a path coefficient value of 24.21%.
