Pelatihan Dasar 3D Printing Untuk Peningkatan Pengetahuan Dan Keterampilan Guru SMK Penerbangan Gutama Jakarta

Teknologi 3D printing menjadi salah satu Teknologi utama dalam implementasi revolusi industri 4.0. Teknologi ini telah menjadi salah satu tren Teknologi masa depan. Produk 3D printing telah banyak dikenal masyarakat terutama dalam bentuk jasa printing. Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan selayaknya juga menguasai kemampuan printing 3D. Laboratorium komputasi Fakultas Teknik Dirgantara dan Industri dilengkapi dengan printer 3D dan digunakan oleh Prodi Teknik Penerbangan pada mata kuliah Computer Aided Design (CAD). Kemampuan mewujudkan desain menggunakan 3D printing perlu disebarluaskan salah satunya ke SMK melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM). Mitra PKM adalah SMK Penerbangan Gutama dan bentuk PKM adalah pelatihan pada guru pengampu mata pelajaran. Peserta pelatihan diberikan pengenalan perangkat lunak solidwork untuk desain gambar yang menjadi masukan printer 3D. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 7 guru dengan kondisi awal hanya 14% yang mengetahui prinsip kerja mesin 3D printing dan belum pernah ada yang mengoperasikan mesin 3D printing. Pelatihan pertama menghasilkan seluruh guru mengetahui prinsip kerja mesin 3D printing. Pelatihan kedua yang diikuti 4 peserta meningkatkan pengalaman dan kemampuan keempat guru mengoperasikan mesin 3D printing. Observasi lanjutan menunjukkan SMK Penerbangan Gutama telah mampu berkreasi menggunakan mesin 3D printing yang mereka miliki
3D printing technology is one of the main technologies in implementing the industrial revolution 4.0. This technology has become one of the future Technology trends. 3D printing products are widely known to the public, especially in the form of printing services. Vocational High School students should also master 3D printing skills. The computing laboratory of the Faculty of Aerospace and Industrial Engineering is equipped with a 3D printer and is used by the Aeronautical Engineering Study Program in Computer Aided Design (CAD) courses. The ability to realize designs using 3D printing needs to be disseminated among vocational schools through Community Service (PKM) activities. The PKM partner is Gutama Aviation Vocational School and the form of PKM is training for subject teachers. Training participants are given an introduction to Solidwork software for designing images that are input to a 3D printer. The training participants consisted of 7 teachers with the initial condition being that only 14% knew the working principles of a 3D printing machine and none of them had ever operated a 3D printing machine. The first training resulted in all teachers knowing the working principles of 3D printing machines. The second training, which was attended by 4 participants, increased the experience and ability of the four teachers to operate 3D printing machines. Further observations show that Gutama Aviation Vocational School has been able to be creative using the 3D printing machines they have.
